Global Thermonuclear War is coming back to the big screen courtesy of the man who brought a battle between two Donkey Kong high score warriors 
to film. Global nuclear war almost ensues.
The original film spawned a Colecovision game in 1983 Yono all app and in 1998 was the basis for WarGames: DEFCON 1, a game for the PC and PlayStation. The Cold War thriller also had a sequel of sorts, WarGames 2: The Dead Code, which no one saw in 2008.
The original Yono all app WarGames showcased simple PC games, including checkers, chess and the fictional Falken’s Maze.
