Hideo Kojima Wants Metal Gear To Keep Going after He Dies

After every Metal Gear game he makes, Hideo Kojima usually says he’s done with the series. Sometimes Kojima even asks Kotaku readers to tell his boss that he doesn’t have to make Metal Gear games anymore. Kojima added that, like members of the mob, every time he tries to get out of making a Metal Gear holy rummy game, he gets sucked back in to fix things. According to the game creator, “I also want to take the numbered series, the official canon Metal Gear, and hand that off to someone.” Wouldn’t that mean he’d have to come back in and correct the work of others? Not that it would be a royally rummy bad thing if he did.
