Ex-Ensemble Staff Form New Studio

Published: January 01, 0001 Reading Time: Approx. 8 mins

Ensemble Studios, developers of the Age of Empires series and Halo Wars, are dead. But the developers who comprised Ensemble? They’re still alive, and some of them have formed a new studio.

It’s called Robot Entertainment, and has been established [[link]] by [[link]] Ensemble co-founder Tony Goodman, along with “a number of veterans” from the former Microsoft-owned studio.

Is this the new studio – the one that will continue work on Halo Wars and other first-party titles – Microsoft spoke about when the Ensemble shuttering was first announced? Certainly looks [[link]] like it, so we could possibly be looking at the future home of Age of Empires as well.

The bonuses are nice and offer great value, although they could be a bit more frequent. I love being part of the VIP program, which gives me extra rewards and makes me feel appreciated as a loyal player.
